Emperor Penguins: Snow Hill Island
Obviously the highlight of the trip was seeing Emperor Penguins in their native habitat and the chance to visit an amazing continent that very few people have had the privilege to see firsthand.
Emperor Penguins: Snow Hill Island
Even before sighting the Emperor penguins, we could hear the raucous chirps of the babies. What noise! And then to be close enough to touch them and observe their curious behavior with attentive parents overseeing, it was like being on the set of Happy Feet. Additionally the international guests add such breadth to the remarkable adventure.

Spent 7-8 hours at the Emperor rookery on the last visit & the weather was unbelievable - no clouds, very little wind & about 28 degress. Truly fortunate to have that much time under such perfect conditions with the magnificient Emperors!
