Excellent - the trip of a lifetime!

"The first highlight of this trip is to see many interesting wildlives I've ever seen before eg. various kinds of Penguins, different kind of Seals eg. Huge Elephant Seals, Fur Seals, Leopard, Weddell, and Crabeater Seals, many species of Whales, and Albatross. The second highlight of course is to see the beauty of different colours and figures of Ice and Icebergs. The third unexpected impressive highlight for me is to hike to the top of the hills and be able to see the superb top view sceneries. "

"I've wanted to visit Antarctica for awhile, but never thought I would want to go more than once. Now, four months later, I'm still on a "high" and can't wait to go back again!"

"I really did not know what to expect when I booked a trip to Antarctica, all I knew is that I had a burning (or shall I say, freezing?) desire to get as far south as possible. But cross the Antarctic Circle I did, and I even swam in its chilly waters!"

"There were many highlights.I can't pinpoint just one. Watching Gentoo Penguins feed their chicks with the dramatic backdrop of Glaciated Mountains on one side and the ocean down below was one. Communing with the animals at their level, the Penguin highways, luging down the mountain on our bottoms, cruising amidst the icebergs on a sunny day past leopard seals and crabeater seals on icefloes as Minke whales dove by. Additionally, having the opportunity to meet many other well traveled like minded individuals who participated in the voyage. Another highlight, as I am Jewish, was sharing the Sabbath and a Jewish Holiday, Tu-BShvat ( sort've a Jewish Arbor day ) with the Israeli passengers on the trip. Also, braving the high seas and the Drake Passage, walking on a tilt and learning to eat as your plates sway this way and that were humorous."

"I have a major interest in Polar history so the highlight of this trip would be going to Grytviken and seeing Shackelton's grave and the old whaling station. Other highlights included the trip to Devils Island and the subsequent zodiac cruise in the Weddell sea (the weather was unbelievable that day, the water was like glass). Other highlights included St. Andrews Bay, Whalers Cove on Deception Island, Bailey's head on Deception Island, Elephant Island, etc..."
