Two special guests will enrich the in-depth education program delivered by members of our Expedition Team. Author Peter Schmidt Mikkelsen will join the expedition in Helsinki, sailing as far as Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. Peter is a former member of Greenland's unique SIRIUS dog patrol. Peter will share his adventures on Greenland's final frontier. Irish explorer John Murray was so inspired by his passion for the Franklin saga that he backed the Irish-Canadian Franklin Search Expedition that sought the underwater location of Erebus and Terror, Franklin's lost ships. The producer-director-cameraman filmed a portion of Franklin's Lost Expedition aboard Kapitan Khlebnikov. John, Managing Director of Crossing the Line Films will introduce his film and deliver illustrated presentations about the Irish-Canadian expedition as well as his adventures filming in the wildest places on Earth from the North Pole to Antarctica.
