Experience “Virtual Antarctica” With Quark Expeditions And TourWrist

Quark Expeditions, the leader in polar adventure, announces it has teamed up with TourWrist to provide a virtual expedition experience of the Antarctic Peninsula via the company’s virtual platform which enables consumers to shoot, view and share 360-degree panoramic images via smartphone, tablets and computers.

Quark Expeditions’ photography guide and IAPP pano-pro photographer, Susanne Weissenberger, will be shooting and sharing some of her immersive panoramic images while on the upcoming Antarctic Explorer voyage departing February 9, 2013.

Special guests aboard this voyage, Jonathan Shackleton (cousin of Sir Ernest Shackleton) and Falcon Scott (grandson of Robert Falcon Scott), will also upload panoramic photos taken on the voyage to the TourWrist website.

Starting mid-February, you can view highlights of the voyage via panoramic photos on the TourWrist website, www.tourwrist.com.
