A hike at Deception Island

Adventurous Quark Expeditions passengers take on a sloping hike at Deception Island in late February 2013. The Sea Adventurer is anchored below, shrouded in light mist from the water. A bunch of our office staff got together at lunch today and went for a refreshing “polar plunge” of sorts at the park outside the office. It’s not quite Antarctica or the Arctic, but it will do!
