Hi Eleine,
I am so glad to hear your enjoyed your voyage on Ocean Nova. At the time of the her temporary grounding earlier this year, three ships were in the vicinity, including Hespedrides (a Spanish naval vessel), Castillo (an Argentine hydrographic vessel), and Clipper Adventurer, one of Quark's fleet. As part of our contingency plan, Clipper changed course and headed toward Ocean Nova, ready to assist if required. As you know, guests were transferred from Ocean Nova to Clipper on February 19, and all guests arrived safely back in port of Ushuaia on February 22.
Sincerely,
Kristina Smith

The Clipper Adventurer, your ship, was the ship used to evacuate all passengers from the temporarily stranded Ocean Nova in Feb 2009. Could you find out for me how it was possible for the Clipper to have been available for the rescue? Where was it at the time?
I was on Ocean Nova in 20 Dec - 31 Dec 2008. We had very good weather on the whole and had some wonderful outings and experiences, the trip I shall always remember as the most extraordinary I've ever had. I was therefore very happy that the ship and all passengers were all right during and after the temporary grounding on the later trip.
