The Countdown
The Countdown
By Blog.Admin
For the past eight months, David and I have been counting down for our trip to Antarctica. We can’t believe that it’s almost here! Lately we’ve been watching lots of videos online to get an idea of what it will be like. But I think, like most adventures, one must experience it themselves to have a full appreciation of it. It’s pretty funny because when we first started telling friends and family about our trip we tended to get two kinds of reactions. The first was a blank stare followed by a series of questions… “Are you visiting family?” No, not unless they live and work at McMurdo Station. “Are there hotels there?” No, not unless you call camping with the penguins and seals a hotel. And I even had someone ask me about Santa Claus, at which point I had to let her know that he lives up north where the polar bears are.
The other reaction was one filled with excitement and a whole bunch of questions about what exactly we will be doing. Honestly, I have a general idea that we will be hitting the peninsula and seeing some penguins, seals, birds, and possibly even whales. But it’s really hard to say because I hear every trip is a different adventure. David and I will be doing our best to fill you in on every moment so we hope you enjoy the blog!

I really loved reading your blog. It was very well authored and easy to understand. Unlike additional blogs I have read which are really not tht good. I also found your posts very interesting. In fact after reading, I had to go show it to my friend and he enjoyed it as well! Thanks so much for this! I have not been this thrilled by a blog post for quite some time! You’ve got it, whatever that means in blogging. Anyway, You’re definitely someone that has something to say that people should hear. Keep up the wonderful job. Keep on inspiring the people!EC0-479 dumps

Hi, Gary! Thanks for writing in. We have not yet met Nate but will be sure to give him a hello when we meet him. There are a lot of college kids on the trip so we have no doubt that Nate is having a blast. Thanks for following along!
Best,
Jennifer and David
