I saw penguins sleeping
I saw penguins sleeping
By Blog.Admin
Light was slowly fading away when we headed back to camp after a short walk close by the beach. A group of people were sitting down by some rocks staring at the small bay, contemplating in silence its beauty. I didn't want to interrupt so I continued walking, as silent as possible, straight ahead, heading towards a small snow covered hill with more or less two hundred Gentoo penguins (yes I've counted them, one by one!). Just an hour before, Andy and Bronwyn (Quark staff), who where the camping ashore "bosses" advised us to check on the way penguins slept, so I got quite curious.
Their tips are always worth it. What a postcard! The Gentoos were completely still, some of them standing up, others lying down, but they were so quiet that I remember I had to whisper not to wake them up. Also curious is that at the same time I was whispering, I couldn't also stop laughing! Why? I guess there were some penguins of that big group that probably have had some extra dosage of krill for dinner that night. Their production of guano was quite audible, if you know what I mean! eheheh
When Andy announced on the Intercom that there were two spaces left for the "Camping experience" I thought I wouldn't be quick or lucky enough to get them. Fortunately I was wrong! yeah!! I've shared with my dear friend Marco a luxurious apartment close to Antarctic waters called "the tent", an apartment stylished by a cool Portuguese flag! I still think it would be better to leave our tent set up since it will for sure become an Antarctica heritage!
"I hear a water stream, distant penguins singing and a few glaciers calving, this is a dream within a dream!" Antarctica is my dream place on earth. I will for sure return, probably over and over again, probably driving a Zodiac (who knows!), and always bringing people who will for sure become great Antarctica ambassadors. If you are thinking in coming to Antarctica, sleep at least one night ashore, It will be a night you'll never forget! You will get a chance to spend good quality time in a great scenery, with amazing staff, and with nice, cool, radical passengers. See you tomorrow, Luis M.

I really loved reading your blog. It was very well authored and easy to understand. Unlike additional blogs I have read which are really not tht good. I also found your posts very interesting. In fact after reading, I had to go show it to my friend and he enjoyed it as well! Thanks so much for this! I have not been this thrilled by a blog post for quite some time! You’ve got it, whatever that means in blogging. Anyway, You’re definitely someone that has something to say that people should hear. Keep up the wonderful job. Keep on inspiring the people!Braindumps

Agora vives a magia insubstituível e irrepetível do sonho tornado realidade. Depois são só realidades revisitadas, sonhos revisitados e a procura da emoção que um dia sentiste mas essa só se vive uma vez.
Um abraço virtual de uma virtual amiga que só te conhece virtualmente.
