We're Open Longer from Coast to Coast

With the Antarctic centennials fast approaching, we are noting an increasing interest in all things polar - not just Antarctica. To handle the questions, we've extended our operating hours. We're now open from 8:30 AM to 8 PM, Monday through Thursday and from 8:30 AM to 5 PM on Friday. Those are eastern times.

We keep an eye on all efforts being made to protect the polar environment. We thought the most recent might interest you. Edward Markey (Massachusetts) of the US House of Representatives reintroduced a bill on January 5, 2011 that, if passed, would designate the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska a wilderness area.
