Current Efforts that Make A Difference

There are people and organizations making a difference right now - scientists, politicians and environmentalists. They are initiators, who have identified issues and concerns that need immediate attention.

Two of them are of particular interest to us. One is a study being organized to learn more about the Emperor Penguins of the Snow Hill Island rookery. The other is a program instituted by the Governor of Svalbard to clean up Norway's Arctic islands.
