I am hoping that previous passengers might be able to help with our packing.

Is there a specific item that you wish you had taken with you on this ship?

Footwear, clothing, communication or .............?

I look forward to your replies.

Hi Rob
I was on the Epic Antarctica 2010. Lots of people took a Kindle and found it very useful as we were on the KK for 1 month. Make sure you take brand new batteries for your camera and at least 2 sets. I thought my 'used' batteries were fine back in the UK but found the cold really exhausted the charge, so much so that I could only take a few shots before losing charge. A fast charger in this case is useful! The shop on the KK is very well stocked but generic batteries are not. The ships Doc usually has plenty of seasickness pills, but if you prefer a particular brand, stock up well and use early. Some people had their own satellite phones, but we could speak with people perfectly well back home via email on our laptop using a ship account. Do take a few memory sticks, yourself and other passengers will want to swap shots. Take hiking boots with a good tough sole to walk on deck. Even inside ship you will need good tough shoes, they do not allow 'flip flops'. A pair of trainers would be fine. Enjoy your trip.
