Travel + Leisure Annual Awards Survey Chooses Polar Adventure Leader
[Seattle, WA] – 26July2016 – Quark Expeditions®, a leading provider of expeditions to the Polar Regions, is thrilled to have been chosen by Travel + Leisure (T + L) readers as one of the Best Small-Ship Ocean Cruise Lines in the world. The assessment comes as the result of T + L’s annual World’s Best Awards 2016, which asks readers to rate their travel experiences around the globe.
Readers’ opinions are sought on the top hotels, resorts, cities, islands, spas, airlines, cruise lines and more. They rated individual cruise ships on their cabin and facilities, food, service, itineraries, destinations, excursions, activities and value. The responses were combined to generate results for cruise lines in five categories; the small-ship ocean category includes cruise lines with vessels carrying up to 249 passengers.
Many of the respondents listed the intimacy of Quark Expeditions’ small ship expeditions and the ability to visit landing sites larger ships can’t easily access as key reasons for small ship cruising.
