[Waterbury, VT] – 15 March 2012 – This weekend, Quark Expeditions, the leader in polar cruises, will be featured in North American premiere of the Discovery Channel and BBC co-production of Frozen Planet.  The seven-part documentary series premieres March 18, 2012, at 8 p.m. ET/PT and highlights the Earth’s Polar Regions, including amazing flora and fauna indigenous to these incredibly remote and desolate parts of the world. BBC and Discovery Channel production crews traveled with Quark to capture the stunning scenery featured in the series.
