Current Efforts that Make a Difference

There are people and organizations making a difference right now - scientists, politicians and environmentalists. They are initiators who have identified issues and concerns that need immediate attention.

A study to learn more about the Emperor Penguins of the Snow Hill Island rookery. A program instituted by the Governor of Svalbard will clean up Norway's Arctic islands. A University of Calgary study to remove excess carbon dioxide. The Last Ocean project.Robert Bateman's education program for youngsters.
