Travel has always been a passion for Eric. From walking tours of the English countryside to the Australian outback, from skiing in Colorado to the beach in Phuket, he has experienced adventures in all parts of the world. His trips with Quark Expeditions to Antarctica marked the last continent he had yet to visit.

Eric has been involved in the privilege of offering polar expedition travel to adventure seeking clients for eight years, the last six with Quark Expeditions. After obtaining his Bachelor of Commerce degree, Eric completed his Chartered Accountancy designation with Price Waterhouse Coopers in Vancouver, Canada and London, England. Eric has combined extensive experience in Profit Analysis in the Transportation Industry with Expedition Operations Management. This background allows Eric as Vice President, Expedition Operations to respond easily to the dynamic operating environment which is Quark.
