Shanti Davis, Marine Biologist and Zodiac Driver

Shanti holds a Bs. in Biology with a minor in Environmental Sciences from the University of Victoria. Throughout her career she has worked as a fisheries observer on offshore fishing boats and many seasons researching birds for the government and conservation groups. She also works as an educator at the Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre on Vancouver Island. She has studied mammalogy, invertebrate zoology, ornithology, oceanography and marine conservation. She has a passion for the Polar Regions and is looking forward to sharing her knowledge this season.
