Before or after an Antarctic expedition you can visit El Calafate or one of the wonders of the modern world Iguazu Falls. En route to Svalbard you can immerse yourself in the world of Vikings. Iceland is a hot destination right now, so if you are traveling to East Greenland, why don't you extend your stay with a few nights in Reykjavik.
