Name some remote islands I can visit!
The Wyatt Earp Islands are on the far eastern coast of Antarctica. Heard Island is 80% covered in ice and straddles the Antarctic Convergence. Part of it is in Antarctica, part of it isn't! Kerguelen was a sealing and whaling based. St. Paul Islands is an excellent habitat for birds. The Snares, Auckland, Campbell, Balleny and Macquarie Islands are equally difficult to visit.
Portions of Ellesmere Island, Svalbard and Franz Josef Land are 10 degrees from the North Pole. All of them are above the Arctic Circle, where the sun never sets. They have unique topography and wildlife that can't be found anywhere else.
