Floret Lyew
Floret was first introduced to expedition cruising in 1984 with the first-ever passenger transit to the Northwest Passage from west to east which was a big success. From this point on it was a thrill to be involved with so many expeditions to the Arctic and Antarctica.
Floret is responsible for arranging all group transfers, group hotel and charter flights whenever necessary. Over the years it has been gratifying to have so many repeat passengers and this is the best reward for me.

What is your advice for polar travellers?
My advice to all polar travellers is to “expect the unexpected at all times and be prepared to go with the flow.” What they can see or do depends so much on weather conditions, which truly makes every expedition unique.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Apart from my passion working for Quark Expeditions, during the summer I love to garden. Oriental lilies seem to thrive in my garden and I hope the deer don’t nip off the buds before they start to bloom!
