Nadine Ponte
Nadine is our Merchandise Operations Manager. She provides passengers with products that they may need on their expedition as well as the remembrances available in the ship shops to take home for families and friends.
What skills do you bring to the job?
"I have an undergrad degree in Environmental Studies and an MBA. I have fashion experience - in design, merchandising and inventory management."
Tell us about the highlight of your expedition to the North Pole.
"After surviving the polar plunge and eating a delicious BBQ lunch on the ice at the North Pole, my boyfriend and I made our way to the North Pole sign to take some photos. After I thought we were finished the mini-photo shoot, Victor let me know we had one more photo to take...this time with our gloves off. He proceeded to take off my gloves as I resisted slightly due to the cold. He got down on one knee, and asked me to marry him. Getting engaged at the top of the world ranks highest on my favorite moments!"
