Brett Jarrett
Wildlife artist Brett Jarrett has studied the identification and behavior of marine birds and mammals for over 35 years. He transfers his knowledge into his artwork. The Australian's goal is to show how beautiful and fascinating wildlife is through his work.
When did you begin working in the polar regions?
"In 1996, I went to the Weddell Sea as a field biologist."
What skills do you bring to the job?
"I guide on shore and teach wildlife observation through art lectures and scientific illustration lectures. I can assist with marine bird and mammal identification."
