Brian Anderson
Brian will be the resident photographer on our icebreaker Kapitan Khlebnikov when the vessel circumnavigates the Arctic in 2011. The Brit recently switched careers, turning his life-long passion for photography into a full-time job. Brian was bitten by the polar bug in 2005, when he visited Antarctica for the first time. An avid Scrabble player, Brian has a great sense of humor and can sing-along with the best when Mamma Mia! is shown in the Khlebnikov's auditorium.

What skills do you bring to the position of Photographer in Residence?
"I communicate well, lecturing on travel in my spare time. I am an experienced wildlife and polar photographer who loves to share my skill and passion with guests."

"I would love to have been on Shackleton's Endurance Expedition of 1914-1917."
