What keeps you returning to the polar regions season after season?

"I love seasonal work. I work for a period of time, then I relax for a period of time. I love the outdoors and this kind of work is for me the ultimate symbiosis between my training and my favorite place to perform my job - in the middle of pristine nature."

If you could time travel, which historic expedition would you join?

"In the Antarctic - cook on any of Shackleton's Expeditions - to make sure the team gets good food and returns to their families with healty bodies."

Angela's advice for polar travelers.

"Don't pack too many things! You will end up using the same items throughout your voyage. Remember the laundry service works well. There are also nice things for sale in the ship's shop!"
