Gustavo, also known as G-Rod, has a passion for Antarctica. His first job was running a Seismological Station at Esperanza Base in 1994.

What skills do you bring to the job?

"My background in Geology is useful for my lectures. I've learned to drive Zodiacs. I'm handy with computers, and a I bring a sense of humor to the job."

What keeps you coming back season after season?

"I love what I do!"

If you could time travel, whch historic expedition would you join, and why?

"I would join the first Argentinean expedition to the South Pole in 1965. My uncle was part of it."
