Andrew White - Vice President of Sales
After university, Andrew moved to England where, of all things, he became a pub owner for four years, he then spent 10 years with Molson Breweries, his final position running the International Division. In 1998 Andrew became co-owner of Canada’s oldest canoe tripping company and in 2000 founded Destination Arctic (a Destination Management Company). After holding various senior sales and marketing positions in the ‘agency world’ his love of adventure travel led him to become co-owner of a boutique luxury travel company, Horizon & Co. Most recently Andrew was Chief Experience Officer of Arctic Kingdom Polar Expeditions. Outside of work, he is an avid outdoorsman and a chauffeur to his son and daughter’s sporting pursuits.

What excites you about joining Quark Expeditions?
Most of my career I have been involved in designing, selling, marketing and staging experiences that were choreographed to create life-long memories. Doing this in the Arctic & the Antarctic – the last two great wildernesses on the planet – is extremely compelling. Doing it with the “leader in polar adventures” is perfect synergy!

The Polar Regions are the most powerfully addictive travel destinations in the world, I defy you to visit them and not feel compelled to return.
