Edwin Blythe, Executive VP Finance
Englishman Edwin Blythe holds a MSc from Loughborough University and a BSc in Business and Management from Salford University. He is Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. After qualifying with Deloitte and Touche in 1996, Edwin spent the last 14 years in the food industry. He spent 10 years with Northern Foods PLC in a variety of roles including business that made sausage rolls and pies for major retailers. He moved to a manufacturer that made ready meals, before working with branded businesses that sell savory pastries. For four years, Edwin was Finance Director for a 60million pound turnover business that made salmon products for a major retailer. In 2010, he became - Executive VP Finance for Quark Expeditions - perhaps his most challenging assignment to date.
Are you a family man?
"My wife Sally-Anne and I have twins. A boy and a girl. Their names are Jake and Amy. The twins turn 5 in Canada in November."
"Tell us about your adventure travel experience?"
"Sally-Anne and I have traveled extensively. As a family we enjoy the outdoor adventure lifestyle. I joined a Quark expedition to the Arctic in 2010."

"I love to challenge myself. I was delighted to take the opportunity at Quark as it is a perfect way to combine the professional challenge of a completely new and exciting sector to me with the personal challenge of settling into a new way of life in Canada."
