Naomi’s enthusiasm for travel is limitless. At a young age she spent a month attending school in Australia where she caught the travel bug. Naomi has worked in the industry for years both in Canada and in the UK. She has been to over 20 + countries and recently landed on her 7th continent this past February. Have you been to the Antarctica?

I was fortunate to join the Sea Spirit this February as she sailed the Antarctic Explorer itinerary. The highlights from travelling when I went in February were: lots of curious penguin chicks, several species of seals, and numerous humpback whale sightings


What skills and training do you bring to the job?

I have 5 + years working in the travel industry in both Sales (Flight Centre and Norwegian Cruise Line) and as a Research Assistant for Heritage consultants in the UK. I am TICO certification and have obtained a MSC. Responsible Tourism.

 

What keeps you coming to work every day?

Knowing how much I got out of travelling to Antarctica – It is the most spectacular place I have ever been and  I want every one of my clients’ to have that once in a lifetime experience!
