Passports and Visas (Arctic)

You are responsible for fulfilling all necessary passport and visa requirements prior to the departure of your voyage. You must have a valid passport to participate in our expeditions. Your passport must be valid for six (6) months beyond the return date of your expedition.

When you embark, an Expedition Team member will collect your passport and hold it for safekeeping during your entire voyage.

It is strongly advised that you consult your local Consulate or Embassy of the country you are visiting well in advance to determine which visas they require and how to obtain them. Depending on your nationality, you may need a visa to enter certain countries included on your trip. Please note that obtaining visas can take up to six weeks prior to your departure.

You can always contact a Quark Polar Travel Adviser to learn more about planning for your voyage.
