About Christa Gampp
Christa was born and raised in a small town near Speyer, Germany. Her father was an outdoor enthusiast and accomplished watercolorist, who passed this passion on to her. Christa’s spirit of adventure led her to move to Canada at age 22, where she studied drawing and painting at the Ontario College of Art & Design in Toronto. After a rewarding career as a high school arts teacher, she decided to pursue other passions in 2016.
Christa has been a practicing artist for many years, working in mosaics, mixed media and watercolor. She is also a passionate gardener and an enthusiastic ukulele and banjolele player.
Since joining the Quark Expeditions team in 2017, Christa has worked as a shop manager, art instructor, presenter and guide.
