About Manda Lundström
Assistant Expedition Leader
Growing up in Sweden, Manda developed an inherent curiosity for the natural world and the outdoors. Her special interest in marine mammals led her to Iceland to study marine biology. She also studied geo-sciences at Umeå University in northern Sweden. After graduation, she spent a couple of years working in environmental conservation throughout Sweden.
Manda has spent several years traveling and living abroad and has worked as a guide in northern Norway, Svalbard, East Greenland and the Antarctic Peninsula. She feels privileged to work in the remote, beautiful and fragile Polar Regions and loves sharing her knowledge of these areas with other explorers in a passionate and educational way.
When not guiding Manda enjoys driving her vintage car, painting and traveling. When abroad she loves to spend time in the outdoors, hiking, kayaking and has learnt new skills such as snowmobiling, sailing and surfing.
