Meghan Fisher

Meghan lives in Fayetteville, West Virginia, USA, where she owns and operates a standup paddleboard outfitter, Mountain Surf Paddle Sports. From an early age she has had a passion for outdoors and adventure. She has been in the outdoor industry since 2005, leading corporate team-building, whitewater rafting, kayaking, backpacking, surfing, and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP).

Her passion for paddling has taken her far and wide, but for Meghan, polar paddling equates to an unparalleled capacity for a truly unique way to connect with the Southern or Arctic Oceans. Don’t think stand-up paddleboarding is for you? Meghan’s professional and energetic approach will likely convert you one paddle stroke at a time! Meghan has been sharing her love for SUP in the Polar Regions with Quark Expeditions since 2015.

When not running her business or in the Polar Regions, you can find Meghan shredding the waves on her surfboard - river surfing - the New and Gauley rivers (West Virginia), tending to her vegetable garden, or hanging out with her cat, Russell.
