He started working in the Polar Regions in 2007, leading multi-week canoe trips on Canada’s northern rivers. Since then, he has coordinated a youth leadership program on Baffin Island and taught secondary school in the Canadian territory of Nunavut in a small hamlet hundreds of kilometers north of the Arctic Circle. Scott joined Quark in 2013 and has since guided numerous expeditions in Antarctica, Svalbard, Iceland and Greenland.

Scott loves watching polar guests connect with the wild beauty of the spectacular places we visit. Whether by Zodiac, sea kayak, shipboard or on shore, he looks forward to enhancing and deepening guests’ knowledge, appreciation and overall experience of the Polar Regions.
