About Meagan Broughton
Manager, Expedition Team Projects & Processes
Born and raised just outside of Toronto, Canada, my passion for adventure has led me to many wild and wonderful places. Summiting Mount Rainier on an epic 12 hour accent to 14,000 feet, mountain biking to the banks of the Amazon River in Peru, and circumnavigating the British Virgin Islands by sailboat are just a few of the adventures I hold close to my heart.
My career in managing adventure travel operations has spanned across North America, Europe, South America and Oceania and now, into the Polar Regions. Prior to joining Quark Expeditions in 2018, I dedicated close to two decades to guiding, coaching, and instructing snowboarding, mountain biking, running and road cycling. When not out exploring, you’ll find me recipe testing and developing healthy eats for my website, Eat Train Adventure, or lending a helping hand at a trail clean up day.
