I was born in Heilongjiang, the most northern province of China, where I had a happy childhood playing with ice and snow. After I moved to Canada in 1998, I had more opportunities to explore the white world of the Canadian “True North,” and finally in 2006, I made it to the Arctic ice pack of the Arctic Ocean in winter and had a shower under the northern lights, which changed my life forever. I joined Quark Expeditions to manage the company’s China operations and lead profitable and strategic growth there. I am excited to bring my years of experience in sales and marketing, technology, business planning and polar expeditions to Quark Expeditions. I am very outdoor oriented and passionate about self-challenges. Outside of work, I am a certified snowboard instructor and an old hand at 167 Lamb Kebab (which makes traditional Chinese kebabs) in Toronto.
