About Manda Lundström
Growing up in Sweden, Manda developed an inherent interest in the natural world and the outdoors. Her special interest in marine mammals led her to Iceland to study marine biology. She also studied glaciology, earth sciences and ecology at Umeå University in northern Sweden. After graduation, she spent 2 years working in environmental conservation throughout Sweden.
Manda has spent several years traveling abroad and has worked as a guide in northern Norway, Svalbard, East Greenland and the Antarctic Peninsula. She feels privileged to work in the remote, beautiful and fragile Polar Regions and loves sharing her knowledge of these areas with other explorers in a passionate and educational way.
