Allison Kean

Born and raised in Timmins, Ontario, I’ve always been eager to travel. Having set a goal of traveling to 30 countries before I turned 30, I’ve watched the sunrise over Mount Bromo in Indonesia, survived a treacherous journey on Bolivia’s “Death Road,” and experienced a sunset in Botswana from the branches of a baobab tree. Back home, I pursued a Global Studies degree at Wilfrid Laurier University, a post-graduate certificate in International Project Management at Humber College, and an MBA from Centenary College. At Quark Expeditions, I deal with the permits and contracts that make your trip run as smoothly as possible. Although I have resided in downtown Toronto for 10 years, I still prioritize the outdoor experiences that typified my youth, and enjoy camping, canoeing and visiting Ontario’s vast park system.
