Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 | Arrive in Buenos Aires: Argentina’s Cultural Capital 

At first glance, Buenos Aires feels European in scale and elegance, yet its vibe is unmistakably Latin—vibrant, expressive, and alive on every street corner. Upon arrival at Ezeiza International Airport, meet your guide and transfer to your centrally located hotel. Your guide remains available throughout the afternoon to assist you. This evening, enjoy your first dinner at a pre-selected Buenos Aires restaurant.

Day 2 | Iguazú Falls: The View From Brazil

An early morning transfer brings you to Buenos Aires’ domestic airport for your included flight north to Iguazú. Upon arrival, continue to Iguaçu National Park on the Brazilian side of the falls. Stretching nearly 2.7 kilometers and composed of hundreds of cascades, Iguazú Falls ranks among the world’s largest and most dramatic waterfall systems. Elevated walkways on the Brazilian side deliver sweeping, wide‑angle views that reveal the full scale, power, and mist‑filled rainforest setting of the falls. 
 
Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the park also protects exceptional biodiversity within one of South America’s most important remaining Atlantic Forest ecosystems. 
This evening, gather for a restaurant dinner hosted by a local naturalist, who will provide insight into the ecology and significance of the region.

Day 3 | Iguazú Falls: The View From Argentina

Today you explore Iguazú National Park on the Argentine side of the falls, where a network of walkways extends over the river and into the surrounding rainforest. This perspective brings you closer to the thunder, spray, and layered complexity of the waterfall system. Also included is a Gran Aventura boat ride. The Argentine side emphasizes intimacy and detail, revealing how forest, river, and falls coexist within a powerful ecosystem. 
 
This evening, enjoy a special dinner showcasing Argentine cuisine, marking a memorable close to your time in Iguazú.

Day 4 | Mbya Guaraní Community and Return to Buenos Aires

After breakfast, visit Jasy Porá, a Mbya Guaraní community near Puerto Iguazú. Through trusted local partnerships, guests gain respectful access to learn about Mbya traditions, spiritual beliefs, and their enduring relationship with the forest, including veneration of Ñanderu, the creator. 

Should a local holiday impact our visit to the Jasy Porá community, an alternative locally curated experience will be provided. Guests will be advised in advance of any changes. 
 
Later, return to the airport for your flight back to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel before gathering for a gala tango show and dinner, featuring world‑class performers in one of the city’s premier venues.

Day 5 | Buenos Aires: Neighborhoods and Expedition Transition

Enjoy a guided city tour highlighting Buenos Aires’ most character‑defining neighborhoods. Visit Recoleta, known for its French‑inspired architecture, before continuing through the city center to exploring historic and cultural landmarks.  
The tour concludes in San Telmo, the city’s oldest neighborhood, where cobblestone streets, colonial façades, and urban art reflect Buenos Aires’ layered past.
For pre-expedition extensions, the day ends at your expedition hotel, aligning seamlessly with embarkation. For post-expedition extensions, you will proceed with your onward travel plans.
