Chloe Wiebe

Expedition Guide, Sea Kayak Guide

Born in the Canadian prairies of Manitoba, Chloe grew up on a rural farm where she built forts in the valley, collected creatures from the stream, and howled back at coyotes at night. Chloe moved to New Brunswick in Atlantic Canada as a teenager, where she was introduced to the Bay of Fundy’s impressive 16-meter tides and learned to sea kayak for the first time.

After completing degrees in both Adventure Recreation and Leadership Studies, Chloe began guiding expeditions across Canada and the United States — from the rugged coastlines of Maine to the vast waterways of the Northwest Territories. Her love of nature connected her to the traditions and stories of Indigenous communities on Turtle Island, where she works with organizations including Under One Sky and The Ayalik Fund, developing land-based programming that supports Indigenous and Inuit youth on transformative wilderness journeys. Chloe teaches Outdoor Leadership at Maine Community College and is a certified Paddle Canada instructor.

When not at sea with Quark Expeditions, Chloe enjoys spending time in her home city of Saint John, New Brunswick — exploring local trails, cold-water swimming, and sharing beach fires with friends.
