We’re not just launching new expeditions, we’ve also got some exciting new activities to look forward to in the Arctic.
Tundra to Table in Iceland
Tundra to Table: Iceland takes guests on a culinary journey through Iceland, the Faroe Islands and Greenland. Created in partnership with Pure Arctic, an Icelandic brand dedicated to sustainable, zero-carbon food production, Tundra to Table: Iceland showcases authentic tasting menus prepared by two rising Icelandic chefs. Guests convene in Ultramarine’s Bistro 487 to sample free-roaming lamb, greenhouse vegetables harvested from volcanic soil, smoked Westfjords lamb or kleinur (Icelandic donuts), among other dishes, while learning about regional foods, traditions and Icelandic cooking techniques.
Science and Discovery Programme on Ultramarine
Quark Expeditions is collaborating with leading scientists and researchers to enrich guest learning on and off-ship. Through researcher-led sessions, and interactive experiences with our expedition team, guests will gain a better understanding and appreciation of the polar wilderness. Broaden your understanding and knowledge of the incredible polar ecosystem, & work with our expedition team to help collect and record data.
