Travel and the outdoors have always been a big part of my life: spending summers camping and canoeing in Algonquin park, road-tripping in Canada and the US, and getting out to see the rest of the world as much as I could. Before visiting the Arctic in 2009, I had no idea how much I would love polar travel. The emotions and attachment I felt to the ice and landforms while visiting Franz Josef Land and the North Pole was something I never expected. For the past few years, I led Quark Expeditions’ Merchandise team in providing our guests with high-quality gear to stay warm and dry during their expeditions, as well as designing and sourcing mementos for guests to remind them of their awe-inspiring experience. Now, being a leader on the Operations Team, I am fulfilled daily being more connected to the wonderfully unique environments that we share with our guests. I am grateful for to work with the team at Quark Expeditions as we give our absolute best daily and share our love for the places we visit with you.
