Sales

Quark Expeditions, the leader in Polar adventure travel, is looking for a tenured, dynamic, travel industry professional, with experience working with retailers, wholesalers, and tour operators to lead profitable sales growth through the travel channels.

The position is responsible for managing and exponentially growing the sales through the travel channels within North America with a focus on the Eastern United States. In conjunction with the Regional Sales Director of North America this position establishes the strategy and tactics to grow sales in the travel channels through market-share growth and profitable yield management in their specific territory. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong ability to build relationships and understand opportunities for future revenue growth in the indirect channels, including chains and consortiums.
Eastern Territory, United Sates – Heavy focus will be NY, PA, DC, VA, CT, MA

The Opportunity
Quark is seeking a dynamic, personable candidate who is looking to combine a love of adventure travel with their solid sales and customer service experience to join our Polar Travel Team.

Quark Expeditions is seeking a professional and personable candidate who is looking to combine a love of efficiency with their solid organizational, research and communication skills to support our Executives. The position will be based at our Toronto office as part of our Admin Team. As an Executive Assistant, you are a resource for the Executives you support. You provide assistance with scheduling, administrative tasks and anything else that is required. The Executives count on your capabilities, organizational abilities and discretion. In fact, they would be hard pressed to function without you.

Information Technology

This position will oversee the digital and communication services available to staff and passengers on Quark Expeditions’ current fleet of expedition ships as well as delivering key project management and consulting to Quark’s new expedition ship (and any other new builds or newly contracted ships).
