A trip of a lifetime
We had the most amazing trip to Antarctica, and spent xmass on board the Ocean Explorer. The crew was incredible, kind, generous and knowledgable. It was truly a trip of a lifetime. Antarctica is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been, and we are glad we chose the right company for our trip.

Quark Rocked Antarctica!
Quark provided an outstanding Antarctic excursion experience. Excursion staff shared their passion as we Zodiac cruised. The presentations they provided were easily digested and informative. The hotel staff (housekeeping and dining) were attentive, efficient but most of all, happy and friendly. The captain and his crew made sure we accessed each excursion site on schedule. It was a tremendous experience!

Antarctica with Quark Expeditions
Pick any category to review – service, accommodations, food, guides – it’s all 5 star, it’s that simple. When we do Svalbard, we are doing it with Quark, on the Ocean Explorer. We may even pick the same cabin.

Overall experience
This was my first time travelling with Quark and i will certainly go with them again. Every aspect of the trip was meticously planned which supported excellent time management demonstrated by Quark. The lectures on the ship were very educational with each presenter bringing their expertise to the group on a daily bases. The camping, hiking and excursions on the Zodiacs were incredible and above all, i felt completely safe at all times with obvious risk management strategies in place. This trip exceeded my expectations, the Ocean Explorer was clean, comfortable and the food was very good. The ships staff were consistently friendly, helpful and very professional. I loved every part of this very busy expedition from the 11th – 20th December. Thank you Quark.
