Polar Expedition Leader Unveils Interactive Arctic Map

 Quark Expeditions® Launches Animated 'Guide to the Arctic' with Arctic Cruise Contest

[Waterbury, VT] – April 10, 2014 – Industry-leading polar expedition company Quark Expeditions® has launched an interactive online Guide to the Arctic, complete with mapping demonstrating the natural habitat of polar bears, muskox, reindeer and other Arctic wildlife.

Visitors are invited to click and explore Arctic wildlife, locations, climate, history, terrain, tips for expedition travel and fun facts about the Arctic region. Within each topic, various points on the interactive graphic reveal new visuals, videos and information on everything from the magnetic changes in the North Pole to the details of polar expeditions in centuries past. These pop-up fast facts link to in-depth information where available, allowing visitors a deep dive into the Arctic from their desktop or tablets.
