Book with Confidence and Rebook Policy

March 27, 2020

Ensuring guest safety—in addition to delivering an unforgettable polar experience—has been part of our DNA since Quark Expeditions’ inaugural voyage to the North Pole in 1991. Our commitment to guest satisfaction has never wavered in the last 30 years. In fact, it’s our top priority right now as we navigate these challenging times. We empathize with all of our guests whose polar expedition plans have been disrupted by the coronavirus crisis.

We thank you in advance for your understanding and patience as the current situation unfolds and changes daily. We’re facing uncertain times—but one thing is certain: Our commitment to you, our valued guest. That's why we’re offering a new flexible risk-free booking policy that has been established specifically to help our valued guests during these troubled times. And, on our part, Quark Expeditions’ solid financial position and the backing of our parent company and owners will allow us to weather this storm along with you.

The COVID-19 pandemic is unfolding at an unprecedented pace. It’s a global crisis that’s changing daily.  The Quark Expeditions team is working 24/7 to stay on top of this challenging situation as it evolves and we’re doing everything we can to keep our guests informed.

We are monitoring travel restrictions daily.  At present, Quark Expeditions’ first Arctic 2020 voyages are scheduled to embark on May 1, 2020. All departures remain on schedule.

The COVID-19 situation is changing daily, if not hourly. It’s quite possible that travel restrictions will have been lifted by the scheduled voyage dates, and the world returned to a somewhat ‘normal’ state. We will continue to closely monitor and update you here with any new information.
