A helicopter for shore excursions and flight-seeing make 50 Years of Victory a ship unlike any other, with the ability to go where other ships cannot.

50 Years of Victory is the first Arktika-class icebreaker to have a spoon-shaped bow, covered in a skirt of stainless steel, meaning she can crush through sea ice up to 9.2 feet (2.5 meteres) thick en route to its destination of 90°N.

You can expect to socialize a lot with your fellow passengers and members of the staff and Expedition Team on Deck #2. There’s the well-stocked Victory Bar adjacent to the library (great selection of polar books and games) and the Lounge, where you can relax with a drink or help yourself to the coffee-and-tea station while you share experiences of the day. Deck #2 is also home to the Polar Boutique, where you can purchase souvenirs and outdoor gear. At the aft end of the ship is the aptly named Aft Saloon and Bar, another spot to enjoy a nightcap while onboard 50 Years of Victory.

50 Years of Victory - Lower Deck

Even in the midst of that endless expanse of ice, snow and ocean, polar adventurers can still enjoy their creature comforts. On the Lower Deck of 50 Years of Victory, you’ll find a heated, saltwater plunge pool, as well as two adjacent saunas to rejuvenate after a day spent exploring off ship.
