Pete’s home is in North Wales, where he first took to a kayak at just nine years old. Since then, he has explored coastlines and rivers across the globe, dedicating his entire professional life to kayak coaching and expedition guiding.
With a deep passion for remote environments and the wildlife that inhabits them, Pete has pursued numerous world-first achievements in kayaking and has both coached and competed at the international level. His enthusiasm for sharing wild places with others is at the core of his guiding philosophy.
When he’s not on the water, Pete can usually be found behind a camera photographing landscapes and wildlife, or out on his mountain bike in his local forest.
