This Norwegian grew up with skiing, fishing and family time around a bonfire or at the mountain cabin. She is an experienced horseback rider, loves hiking and is passionate about keeping an active lifestyle.
After finishing her studies at BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo, the call of the wild had become so strong that she decided to move to Svalbard. What was supposed to be a five-month adventure ended up being five years! In 2018, while living in Svalbard, an opportunity arose to work for Quark in both Polar Regions, so naturally she jumped in with both feet and never looked back.
Combining her love of staying active, having fun and learning new skills, Marthe's travel adventures have included Muay Thai training in Phuket, Jiu-jitsu in San Diego, diving on Koh-Lanta and climbing in Greece. She is now based in Oslo which allows her to easily reconnect with family and friends. When not working you'll find her hiking locally, at her family’s mountain cabin, or in the nearby gym.
