QuarkExpeditions.com en Español Launches to Serve the Growing Spanish Market

[Waterbury, VT] –August 20, 2014 – Quark Expeditions, the world’s leading polar expedition company, has launched their Spanish-language polar expedition website available internationally, complete with Arctic and Antarctic itineraries, regional information, adventure activities and more.

A full-service website for Spanish-speaking travelers better meets the needs of Quark’s diverse passenger base. International web traffic and bookings have increased significantly in the last year, with travelers expressing a desire for native-language travel planning information. Spanish is the second foreign language translation of Quark’s website, and is fully responsive, so tablet and mobile visitors can have a fully immersive experience.

“Our international customers are web and mobile savvy, so we’re staying current with those needs,” said Quark Expeditions president, Hans Lagerweij. “Expanding our website to better serve our global passengers with a natively-translated online information hub is one of the ways in which we will continue to grow our business around the world.”

Quark Expeditions attracts customers from 52 countries, with voyages primarily operating in English. They offer select departures with French, German and other multilingual tour guides on board, based on group needs. Quark’s website is now offered in English, French and Spanish, with plans to offer Portuguese web visitors a native-language website in the near future.
