Quark Expeditions® Launches Websites in Japanese and Russian

Polar Travel Leader Launches Mobile-Responsive Websites for Growing Global Clientele

[Seattle, WA] – September 4, 2015 – Quark Expeditions®, the world's leading polar expedition company, is pleased to announce the launch of two official micro-sites — in Japanese and in Russian. The Japanese and Russian versions of the official Quark website showcase trip and ship descriptions and essential polar travel information, adventure activities and more to better meet the needs of its diverse and growing client base. Both sites are fully responsive, ensuring an optimized experience for desktop and mobile visitors.

Web traffic and bookings from Japan and Russia have increased significantly in the last year, with travelers expressing a need for access to native-language travel planning tips. Quark Expeditions® has also seen a large increase in inquiries via telephone, email and live chat from these regions, as well as a 25% increase in web traffic.

Quark Expeditions® sees customers from 52 countries on a broad selection of expeditions primarily operated in English. It also offers select French and German language departures, and multilingual tour guides based on group needs. The full Quark website is now offered in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese, as well as the Russian and Japanese microsites. Quark plans to continue adding content to the sites throughout 2015/16.
