Meg Murgatroyd Joins Quark Expeditions® As New Global Partnership Director

20-Year Supply Management & Marketing Pro Joins Veteran Polar Cruise Brand

[Seattle, WA] – 14July2016 – Quark Expeditions®, a leading provider of expeditions to the Polar Regions, is excited to welcome supplier management and leisure retail marketing expert Meg Murgatroyd on board as Global Partnership Director. In this new role, Murgatroyd will lead strategic growth in Quark’s global distribution network, which includes GSAs, wholesalers, travel agents, charterers, consortia, affinity/alumni markets, TUI sister companies, M&IT, affiliates, and more.

Murgatroyd brings to the Quark Expeditions team over twenty years’ experience in supplier management and retail marketing in leisure travel with companies including Sears Travel, The Walt Disney Company and Fun Sun Vacations. Most recently, she served as Director of Supplier Management for North American Leisure with Carlson Wagonlit Travel. Prior to that, Murgatroyd was Director of Product Development in Travel & Retail Services for CAA South Central Ontario.

Murgatroyd will drive the development of tactical and long-term strategic objectives designed to grow Quark’s channel business profitably and in alignment with its 5-year strategic plan. She will manage key partner relationships and represent the Quark brand at industry events. A current member of SKAL International in Toronto, she has previously been a member of the Association of Canadian Travel Agencies (ACTA)’s Ontario Regional Council and The Cruise Council of Canada.
